Digital Marketing Specialist

Go Maverick Group has a Cleveland-based, agency client looking for a mid-level Digital Marketing Specialist. In this cross-functional role, you will be uniquely positioned within their organization to leverage a variety of your digital marketing skills, but there will be a heavy emphasis on marketing automation. You will be focused on identifying customer journeys, developing strategies and working directly with clients. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to diverse projects.

Responsibilities will include:

Email Marketing

  • Build and deploy email campaigns and landing pages through various email marketing and CMS platforms
  • Conduct thorough review and testing to ensure quality and adherence to best practices
  • Monitor and report on key email marketing metrics

Tagging, Reporting & Analytics

  • Implement and manage tagging for paid media campaigns
  • Assist with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics setup and maintenance
  • Compile data from various digital marketing channels for recurring performance reports

Content Marketing & SEO

  • Build blog posts, landing pages, etc., and implement content optimizations
  • Assist with SEO tasks and reporting
  • Minimum 5 years experience with digital marketing, ideally in an agency environment
  • Experience with email marketing and content management platforms, MS Dynamics a huge plus
  • Must feel comfortable working with and presenting to clients directly
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Growth mindset and proactive problem-solver
  • Quickly learn and apply new tools, platforms, and marketing strategies
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Able to work independently, take initiative, and improve existing processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new tools quickly
  • Experience with Photoshop and Figma a plus
