Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.In this role, you will apply analytical capabilities towards the most strategically important areas and topics across the databases business and create linkages with the overall databases strategy. You will work cross-functionally across the databases organization and broader Google cloud product areas as needed to shape the future of the databases portfolio. You will serve as a leader on the databases Strategy and Operations leadership team, a function which is responsible for crafting the strategic direction for databases and ensuring the high quality execution of the strategy. You will be working with engineering, product management, marketing, operations, user interface(UI), and finance to make data driven product decisions. You will serve as a subject matter expert, trusted technical or analytical advisor across a wide range of issues to our stakeholders.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $208,000-$296,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google .Responsibilities• Work with large data sets and develop solutions that can be executed for incremental business growth. Solve non-routine, inter-disciplinary analysis problems by applying advanced analytical methods as needed.• Perform leadership consulting across the databases organization to make data driven product decisions and find data driven product opportunities. Develop experimentation and measurement frameworks to increase the velocity of investments and aid complex decision-making.• Identify business problems, translate these to tractable questions, process data and perform analysis, and communicate the results to stakeholders to inform the product direction.• Work with engineering, product, operations, user Research, and go-to-market teams to identify opportunities for analysis.• Deliver well-documented datasets, tools, and reports to key technical and business partners.
