By applying to this position you will have an opportunity to share your preferred working location from the following:In-office locations: Boulder, CO, USA; Los Angeles, CA, USA; New York, NY, USA; San Francisco, CA, USA.Remote location(s): California, USA; Colorado, USA; New York, USA.Minimum qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Design (e.g., Interaction, Film, Graphic, Visual Communications, Product), a related field, or equivalent practical experience.• 6 years of motion design experience in product design or UX/UI animation.• Experience working with designers, researchers, engineers, content strategists, and product managers throughout the design process.• Experience in motion design related to product goal and marketing videos.• Experience in storyboarding related to visualizations of new technologies and use cases.• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).Preferred qualifications:• Experience in video/motion tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, premiere, principle, etc.).• Knowledge of visual storytelling and motion design.• Familiarity with User Interface (UI) motion design principles, practice, and execution.• Familiarity with visual design tools (e.g., Figma).• Excellent Illustration skills for visualizing storyboards and strategy.• Excellent visual design and communication skills.About The JobAt Google, we follow a simple but vital premise: "Focus on the user and all else will follow." Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google .Responsibilities• Work alongside researchers, writers, and visual/interaction designers to communicate product goals and future experiences.• Communicate nuanced product interactions and features clearly through motion.
