How do you ensure that your animations are optimized for performance in Unity?

To ensure my animations are optimized in Unity, I adhere to a few best practices, such as minimizing the keyframe count, utilizing mesh instancing, and using animation compression settings. I also regularly monitor the performance as I develop, testing the animations in context within the game to identify any potential lag or frame rate drop. Keeping communication with developers is crucial so that we can tackle performance issues together.
