About the Revenue Team

Team Revenue drives the Growth of Gorilla consisting of Marketing, Market Development, Partnerships, and the Sales function. Working collaboratively across the functions, and the regions, we drive Gorillas expansion and growth. Consisting of a highly motivated team spread across the globe we continuously work closely with our prospective customers to demonstrate the value Gorilla can bring their organisations.

Where and how you'd work

Our flagship office is in Antwerp. We also have a office in London and co-working spaces in Reading (UK), Austin (US), Melbourne (ANZ). This is a Remote First role based in Europe. You have a choice in where and how you work. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.

With a focus on the DACH region, you will be expected to travel across the region.

The role

You’ll spearhead Gorilla's expansion in the DACH market and have the opportunity to drive deals forward more widely across EMEA.

Following the company goals and objectives, you’ll lead the sales strategy in the DACH region, aiming to accelerate our growth in the market. Focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction, you analyse the market together with the GTM team and detect the right opportunities and leads. You target a clear client segmentation, in which you identify new commercial opportunities and open the doors to get in. To generate business, you approach new markets and clients and use existing and potential customer networks.

To acquire a new customer, you collaborate with the Market Development Representative to represent Gorilla in the best possible way in every situation.  You analyze client needs to tailor our product and applications to client requirements. You work collaboratively across functions to jointly achieve the best result, contributing to Gorilla’s marketing, market development, and partnership activities and providing an important channel for product to further enhance our offering.

Additionally, you build long-term trusted relationships with clients by responding to their queries in a timely manner. You deliver an excellent customer experience.

In short, you get the deals done; making sure contracts are signed and sealed, so our team can deliver!

You will report to Tommy Mörtberg - Head of Sales EMEA.

What you'll do in your first 12 months

  • Drive new business ARR across existing pipeline, new deals, and upsells

  • Pipeline generation working with Market Development, Partnerships, and Marketing

  • Cement our market presence in Germany and the wider DACH region

  • You have strong experience in Enterprise SaaS Sales

  • As a digital native you’re passionate about business efficiency and innovation

  • The commercial beast within you combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach

  • You are a self starter with the ability to keep going, but still look for support from within the organisation to get the deal in

  • You are a business fluent German speaker with impeccable English language skills
