As a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at our urgent care facility, your primary responsibilities will include assessing patient histories, performing physical exams, diagnosing urgent medical conditions, and delivering effective treatments for various illnesses and injuries. You'll also perform minor procedures, prescribe medications, and educate patients on health maintenance. To fulfill the requirements for the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) position, candidates must hold a valid FNP license in Illinois or be eligible to obtain one. Additionally, board certification from either the AANP or ANCC is required. Experience in urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine is highly preferred, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.
