To grow our team, we’re looking for a Manager, Community Relations and Engagement (Nonprofits)

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in Benevity's strategy for engaging with nonprofits to create impact. With your team, you’ll build a community of nonprofits that are Raving Fans of Benevity (RFOBs) through giving, volunteering, grants, impact reporting and being part of the Benevity ecosystem and corporate partnerships. You’ll own and deliver service offerings that enable clients and nonprofits to create impact.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement a strategic engagement roadmap to cultivate strong relationships with nonprofits, including regular touchpoints, roundtables and innovative ways to add value
  • Support the education of new nonprofits
  • Analyze regional and territory business trends and outcomes to identify and scale growth opportunities
  • Design and pilot new levers that support nonprofit engagement growth at scale
  • Develop and maintain a community to increase reach and feedback loops for program, product support and community support
  • Actively brainstorm and propose creative solutions to enhance Benevity's offerings in employee volunteering, corporate giving, and impact reporting
  • Champion continuous improvement within the Nonprofits team, optimizing processes and systems to ensure data accuracy, efficiency, and transparency
  • Manage, coach, mentor, and grow a team of dedicated nonprofit-facing professionals
  • Execution of workshops, events, webinars, partnerships and other channels to build an integrated strategy
  • Lead the creation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual volunteering engagement reports, building data-driven models to support strategic decision-making
  • Design and oversee the creation of compelling volunteering program packages that cater to individual and group needs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Client Success, Product & Engineering) to develop and launch innovative volunteering solutions

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a nonprofit engagement, volunteer management, client-facing or related role. Nonprofit and management experience is a plus
  • At least 3 years of experience leading and managing teams to drive results, engagement, and growth
  • Passion for social good and a deep understanding of the nonprofit landscape
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive growth and engagement
  • Experience building community for scale through programmatic initiatives that drive business value
  • Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity 
  • Curious, naturally analytical, motivated to learn, question the status-quo, move fast… and break things 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making
  • Strong empathy for our community AND passion for revenue and growth
  • Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
  • Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
  • Expert with Excel (pivot tables, large data set analyses, and formulas), analytical tools (SQL), and methodologies like capacity planning, forecasting, general modeling for prioritization and decision making
  • Comfortable with Google Suite, Salesforce/Hubspot CRM, and other technology solutions for driving supply acquisition, territory management and retention
  • Deep knowledge and experience using collaborative project management tools and processes (e.g. Asana, Airtable, and etc.)
