Job Description

Our Commercial Finance team is growing! We are looking for a Commercial Business Partner that will play a key role in driving commercial insights and sustainable practices across the GYG network. This role will primarily support operations, offering in-depth commercial and financial analysis to ensure optimal outcomes. This is the perfect role for someone who is naturally curious, highly analytical and able to influence change within a business.

What you can expect:

  • Prepare and distribute monthly P&L reports for AU and International restaurants, along with ROI report packs for senior leadership and the board
  • Liaise with Franchisees and franchisee bookkeepers to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Administer the Fathom platform, manager user access and ensure proper KPI mapping
  • Provide regular KPI analysis and insights, focusing on cost control, commodity prices, yield and labour
  • Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts for restaurants
  • Analyse financial performance and provide insights for business growth
  • Support franchisees with financial queries and engage in new restaurant growth initiatives
  • Monitor and report on restaurant financial performance
  • Support with ad-hoc projects and provide business valuations

You’ll enjoy this role if you have:

  • 3-7 years experience in a fast paced environment
  • CPA, CA, or CIMA qualification is preferred
  • Advanced proficiency to Microsoft excel
  • Strong P&L understanding with the ability to analyse financial data and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong commercial mindset with a passion for identifying opportunities
  • Highly analytical, detail orientated and results driven
