About the role

We’re looking for a Social Media Lead who is passionate about blockchain technology, and who can develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to position Halliday as a thought leader in the crypto space. In this role, you will manage Halliday's presence on Twitter, Discord, and Medium, creating compelling content that drives engagement and sparks conversations with both technical audiences and crypto-native communities.

You will own the strategy, content creation, and community engagement on our digital platforms, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support broader marketing and brand-building initiatives. This is a hands-on role where you'll be expected to drive Halliday’s voice in the crypto ecosystem, promote key innovations, and grow a vibrant online community.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own and execute Halliday’s social media strategy across key platforms (Twitter, Discord, Medium) to drive brand awareness, engagement, and thought leadership within the blockchain space.

  • Develop and produce technically sound, engaging, and informative content for various social media channels, including blogs (Medium) and real-time posts on Twitter and Discord. You’ll simplify complex blockchain topics for both technical and non-technical audiences while highlighting Halliday’s innovations.

  • Actively engage with the Halliday community on Twitter and Discord, fostering positive interactions, answering questions, and driving meaningful discussions. Build relationships with key influencers, developers, and community members to expand our reach.

  • Plan and execute a content calendar that aligns with broader marketing goals, ensuring timely, relevant posts that reflect industry trends, product updates, and community interests.

  • Keep a pulse on the latest developments in blockchain, crypto, and fintech to ensure Halliday’s content remains relevant, timely, and part of the ongoing industry conversation.

  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure social media content and campaigns align with product launches, key initiatives, and marketing objectives.

  • Identify and build relationships with influential figures in the crypto and fintech space to amplify Halliday’s presence and reputation.

  • Measure the success of social media campaigns using analytics tools, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable insights for improving future strategies.

  • Actively monitor and moderate conversations on Discord and other social platforms, addressing community feedback and concerns, and ensuring that Halliday maintains a positive and interactive online presence.

What we’re looking for 

  • Strong experience in managing social media for blockchain or fintech companies, with a deep understanding of crypto culture and the Web3 ecosystem.

  • Proven ability to create clear, engaging, and technically accurate content for blogs (Medium), social platforms (Twitter, Discord), and other digital channels.

  • Demonstrated experience in building and managing online communities, particularly on platforms like Discord and Twitter. You understand the dynamics of crypto-native communities and know how to drive conversations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into accessible and engaging content.

  • Experience developing and executing social media strategies that build brand presence, grow engagement, and drive community interaction.
