Summary of Job
We are looking for a skilled IT Specialist to support and maintain our technology infrastructure. This role will focus on managing hardware and software systems, supporting users, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our networks and systems—both in the office and production environments.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
• Manage Meraki network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, wireless access points, VLANs, and routing rules.
• Configure and support VPN connections (both remote access and site-to-site).
• Provide technical support for MES and ERP systems, handling user requests and module-level troubleshooting.
• Perform routine backups for databases, file servers, VMs, and end-user systems.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and oversee hardware lifecycle and software license compliance.
• Assist with system updates, patch management, and documentation.
• Coordinate and support hardware/software moves, adds, and changes.
• Be available for after-hours or weekend work when required for maintenance or urgent issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required experience and skills
• Proficient in SQL querying and debugging, including writing
•2–5 years of hands-on experience in IT support, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
• Strong background supporting both office and production systems
• Experience with Meraki switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
• In-depth knowledge of virtualization using Hyper-V (VM creation, virtual networking, and storage)
• Proven experience in managing and executing SQL database and file server backups
• Familiarity with managing and troubleshooting desktop, laptop, and printing hardware (office & production)
• Experience supporting MES and ERP programs, including related modules and user requests
Education & Language
• Minimum degree: Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field
• Language: English (written and verbal)
Technical Skills
• Meraki Switches, Firewall and Access point configuration including security policies, routing rules, and access controls
• VPN configuration for laptops and site-to-site connections
• Network infrastructure management (VPN, VLANs, routing, IP configuration)
• Windows OS and server system administration
• Active Directory / Azure AD for user and device management
• Proficient in SQL querying and debugging, including writing and troubleshooting queries for production databases
• MES and ERP system support, including functional modules, user access, and request-based debugging
• Asset and inventory tracking, including identifying inactive or obsolete hardware
• Software license management across all systems
• Backup monitoring for file servers, databases, VMs, and end-user systems
Pay starting from $75,000 based on experience.
