Competitive pay range: $17-$22+/hour

A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE:
  • Manage classroom daily needs to support your students' health and well-being.
  • Communicate with families and caregivers both in-person and digitally.
  • Cultivate a love of learning by applying our child-centered approach, integrating social-emotional learning, STEAM, and nature-based education. 


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrate kindness and respect for self, others, and our community at-large.
  • Skilled in play-based learning approaches and social-emotional education.
  • Deliver required paperwork and completed lesson plans on time.
  • Must pass required state and company background checks.


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Comply with all VT Public Health and Child Care Regulations.
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals’ course or the Vermont Afterschool Essentials Certificate and at least twelve (12) months experience working with groups of children from grade three (3) or younger is preferred but not required.
  • Pass the state-required background check.
  • Serve as a mandated reporter, on and off campus.
  • Ensure classroom environments meet NAEYC’s Anti-Bias Early Education standards.
  • Ability to stand, move, run, and play throughout the day.
  • Lift up to 30 pounds multiple times daily.
