We are currently on the lookout for a Director of Operations and Finance to join our team.

Your responsibilities include:

Financial Management: Oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and develop strategies to mitigate operational risks.
Operational Excellence: Develop, implement, and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity across departments.
Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze key performance indicators and financial metrics, providing actionable insights to the executive team.
Strategic Growth: Identify opportunities for growth and scalability

To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

Proven Experience: Significant experience in operations and finance leadership roles, preferably within a tech or SaaS environment.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies that align with organizational goals.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, remote working environment and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

We hire internationally for this position. We can hire talent internationally as contractors — or employees if you are based in the United States, the European Union, or Australia.
The total cost of employment (irrespective of contractor or employee status) for this role is within $175,000 - $195,000 depending exclusively on the cost of living in your location. For example, taking into account payroll taxes and cost of benefits, the same cost of employment results in a gross compensation of $149,000 to $165,000 in the United States.
We also offer an extra incentive into our equity with RSUs through our $HOST token (not tied to location).
