We are seeking a visionary and experienced Senior Manager, Brand Event Design to join our growing global design team. This key role will work in close collaboration with Design, Brand Marketing, and Regional teams to elevate and execute global brand event experiences from press events and influencer masterclasses to retail pop-ups, A-level campaign activations and Flagship store experiences. Will be responsible for providing artistic direction and executional support of event setups. In conjunction, this role will lead the creation of brand design codes for events and develop and implement global event standards. Will also work with cross functional teams and external agencies to create, develop, and oversee all visual and experiential design elements. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the creative development and execution of our global brand events as we continue to grow and deliver exceptional customer experiences around the world.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work in close partnership with Global Design, Brand Marketing, and Regional teams to provide artistic direction, visual guidance and approvals for brand experiences, ensuring alignment across key touchpoints.
  • Develop Design Concepts: Lead the creation of design concepts, mood boards, and overall design direction that support the brand’s unique identity and elevates the aesthetic while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Event Execution: Provide in-person, hands-on executional support at NYC Flagship events and other locations as needed. Help support and problem solve during on-site set ups to ensure each event embodies our luxury brand image and meets best-in-class design and aesthetic standards.
  • Event Design Codes & Guidelines: Work with Global Design to establish and define brand architectural and aesthetic design codes for events. Create and implement standard global brand event guidelines that clearly define luxury standards and ensure consistency across all activations.
  • Event Analysis: Conduct post-event analysis to identify key design successes to be integrated into our global standards, as well as areas of opportunity, ensuring continuous improvement of event design strategies.
  • Process Management: Manage regional teams, brand marketing partners and event agencies to ensure smooth communication and execution of all design elements, from concept to implementation.
  • Aesthetic Solutions: Provide aesthetic design solutions that maintain brand integrity while meeting experiential objectives for press, influencer, retail, and campaign events.
  • Design Approval & Communication: Oversee the design approval process, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and that design elements are approved on schedule. Maintain clear and open communication across teams.
  • NYC Flagship Activation: Partner with the SVP Brand Image and brand marketing team to activate and execute NYC flagship programming, providing design input and guidance on branding elements, such as printed materials, event signage, and visual assets and accessories. Will be responsible for on-site execution and supervision to ensure all visual and design elements reflect luxury standards and maintain brand equity.
  • Vendor and Agency Collaboration: Collaborate with external vendors and agencies, providing design input and considerations for briefs and RFPs. Guide agency partners through the design process, offering feedback to ensure that all projects are executed to meet luxury standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in luxury brand design, experiential marketing, interior design or related fields, with a strong portfolio of successful high-end event design projects.
  • Creative Vision: Proven ability to conceptualize and execute sophisticated, visually compelling designs that align with luxury brand aesthetics.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience managing complex design projects and working with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to deliver exceptional design work that adheres to luxury standards while maintaining impeccable attention to detail.
  • Passion for Beauty: A deep understanding and passion for the beauty industry, with a strong appreciation for its trends and evolving consumer experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, etc.) and familiarity with digital production processes.

The expected base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000 per year. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.

This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
