Engineer (PE) - Transportation

As a Transportation Engineer (PE) at Houston Engineering, you'll be responsible for leading project activities throughout the entire lifecycle of transportation projects. This includes preparing detailed engineering analyses, technical reports, and schedules, as well as collaborating with CAD designers and subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

To qualify for the Transportation Engineer (PE) position at Houston Engineering, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, along with a State Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain one within six months. Applicants should also have a minimum of 4 years' experience with state DOT and county highway projects.

In this role, you will manage a variety of transportation projects that may include traffic planning, roadway and railway design, drainage analysis, and environmental clearance coordination. You'll work on federal, state, county, and municipal roadways, ensuring designs are compliant with regulations.
