About The Role & Team


We are looking for an HR Generalist to support our HRBP team and greater people team as a partner to People Ops, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Success. You will be a crucial part to the business partner team as a cross-functional stakeholder in supporting business leaders and managers. 


As an HR Generalist, you will: 


  • Act as a resource to employees regarding HR related matters including being the point-person for employees regarding questions on performance management processes, engagement surveys, offboarding, etc.
  • Manage all termination processes across Amplitude and act as the liaison between the HRBP and HR Ops team to assure seamless offboarding processing, including Workday termination transactions, drafting severance agreements, etc
  • Provide support to Managers & Sr Managers across AMPL on a reactive basis (Ex. Promotion Calibration, Talent Assessment, etc)
  • Own & manage the triage of requests coming to the hrbp@amplitude.com email alias 
  • Build & prepare decks for calibration sessions (talent & promotion) during performance review cycles for HRBPs
  • Partner with HR Business Partners with planning and roll-out of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Work with cross functional stakeholders to assure completion of various required trainings are met (Anti-harassment, security, sales certifications, etc)
  • Act as headcount liaison between TA, Rev Ops, Finance & represent the HRBPs in all headcount conversations with internal teams
  • Coordinate with HR OPs, TA and Finance to handle all contractor conversions 


You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:


  • At least 3 years experience in an HR (preferably within HR Operations or Generalist) 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented. 
  • Strong problem-solver with the ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
  • Ability to use HR reporting and analytics in generating insights and presenting findings back to the business, as well as tracking and disseminating key HR data
  • Comfortable operating in a matrix and continuously changing environment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship building, consulting, teamwork and leadership skills

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Colorado. Colorado range: $91,440 - $137,160 base salary inclusive of guaranteed bonu.


Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals will work for Amplitude in New York City. New York City salary range: $101,600.00 - $152,400.00 base salary inclusive of guaranteed bonus.


Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $101,600.00 - $152,400.000 base salary inclusive of guaranteed bonus.


Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $91,440 - $137,160 base salary inclusive of guaranteed bonus.


Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range: $91,440 - $137,160 base salary inclusive of guaranteed bonus.


Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington only: unlimited PTO, 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary), medical dental and vision PPO and CDHP plans. Finally, a company sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
