Position Overview

The Strategic Partnership Coordinator will be responsible for the support & growth of Strategic Account Partnerships sales. Strategic Partnership supports both commercial and hospitality program business.  This role will work closely with the Director of Strategi5-c Partnerships and/or designee to support initiatives around the company’s strategic account growth plan.  This candidate will spend a portion of their time looking for new opportunities by sifting through systems and lists (i.e. Dodge, Sales Force, trade shows), qualify the lead and document details needed to transition the lead to RSMs & HDH reps.  This candidate will also spend time supporting landed programs with our business partners. The position will interface with current clients by email/phone and video to give them statuses as needed.  The candidate should be comfortable with gathering sales data, ensuring voice of the customer metrics are met in production, inventory and lead-time plans at the plant level.  The role will also assist in departmental process documentation and work flow.  This role will fulfill duties assigned by the Director of Strategic Partnership and/or department designee.

What you'll do

  • Works directly with the Director of Strategic Accounts to identify new opportunities in the current Strategic Accounts and Hospitality Sales Channels
  • Provides sales data and forecasting analysis work for each account
  • Supports sales growth initiatives through working with Strategic Accounts and Hospitality Purchasing Agents
  • Identify, build, and manage pipeline of clients and project opportunities through research, industry databases, and cold calling.
  •  Coordinate the onboarding and training of new & existing Strategic Partnership accounts.
  • Cross train and partner with the hospitality team as needed.   
  • Supports the pre-order process and specification forecasting through management of components needed, units to purchase, and timelines for upcoming projects  
  • Reviews current sales order timelines, BKO statuses, quality and follows up on installation schedules
  •  Stays current with industry standards and working knowledge of Hunter Douglas products and services in order to support production and inventory level analysis 
  • Provide information and direction to the demand planning teams at the plant level
  •  Provides Subject Matter Expertise to product and channel marketing teams for new product launches and offerings within the Strategic Accounts Market
  • Assist in developing and reporting performance metrics related to product sales
  • Gather sales data for each product offering, providing analysis of future trends or concerns to current lead-time plans
  • Provides support by maintaining communication via multiple communication channels including email, telephone, and in person meetings
  • Identifies and analyzes processing issues related to product offerings, backorder notification, production delays, and alternative product resolutions in partnership with the plants
  • Prepare and provide sales data to the Director of Strategic Accounts
  • All other duties as assigned

Who you are

  • 5-7 years of combined related experience in direct dealer support, sales forecasting, some college, and/or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of inside sales experience
  • 5 years minimum of sales service experience
