At BestLife4Pets, we believe every pet deserves to live a long, happy, and healthy life with the humans who love them. As a fast-growing holistic pet health brand, our mission is to help pet owners care for their pets with our high-quality homeopathic health products.
What sets us apart? Our deep-rooted love for our pets – in fact, our CEO started this company when she witnessed the remarkable results of homeopathic remedies on her own dog.
Over the past few years, our brand has grown by over 30%, and we know this is just the beginning. To take our business to the next level, we are expanding our team. If you are highly organized, data-savvy, and love making the world better for our furry friends, we’d love to have you on board.
As our Graphic Designer, you’ll be responsible for creating images that sell our pet supplements. You’ll create designs for Amazon, other product listings, social, and packaging. Video/ Animation experience is a bonus.
The Graphic Designer will play a key role in coming up with relevant, conversion-driven designs, communicating efficiently with the team, meeting deadlines, staying on-brand, and taking the initiative when it comes to the company’s visual identity.
You’ll need a strong eye for effective design and be purposeful in every design choice you make to balance attractiveness with conversion. Your ability to follow a brief will be paramount, but we also encourage you to be creative enough to try new angles while remaining true to our brand identity.
This role is perfect for someone with proven experience in e-commerce (especially Amazon), marketing or sales skills, up-to-date skills with the latest design tools, and a drive to stay at the forefront of the latest design best practices while not being afraid to be creative.
The primary mission of our Graphic Designer is to create attention-grabbing designs with smart, conversion-focused angles. You’ll also be required to improve our overall design quality and keep iterating our design guidelines to keep up with the latest best practices and stay in line with BestLife4Pets’ goals.
The responsibilities of our Graphic Designer include the following:
Overall, the Graphic Designer will play an important role in driving the continued growth and success of BestLife4Pets by maintaining our brand identity and ensuring that our design complements the copy and conveys the message effectively.
The Graphic Designer position includes committing to the following:
As our Graphic Designer, you need to be a creative, dynamic, and flexible individual. You need to be able to juggle multiple tasks throughout the day, be comfortable making decisions on your own, communicate with the team where necessary, and deliver consistently high-level work.
You should have a background in (or an in-depth understanding of) marketing and sales and know how to use marketing principles in design. You should design with purpose, so every finalized file is optimized for conversion while still capturing the viewers emotionally.
You’ll need to be proactive and able to take a brief and run with it. The ability to think outside of the box while remaining on-brand is key. You must be comfortable managing assigned tasks and fitting in edits wherever necessary, as well as taking feedback and incorporating it into future designs.
The ideal person for the Graphic Designer role is someone who doesn’t just live for great design, but who’s also passionate about pets and genuinely cares about BestLife4Pets’s mission of improving the lives of animals through natural, holistic products.
Good time management, organizational skills, communication, and interpersonal skills will be assets in this position and help you succeed and fit into our team environment.
Key traits for this position:
Our ideal Graphic Designer will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, creativity, strong design skills, and an ability to create designs with purpose—to make sales, not just look pretty. You’ll need to be able to manage your time effectively, take action quickly when needed without waiting for instructions, and handle feedback like a pro (and learn from it). The ability to multitask is a bonus, and strong interpersonal and communication skills will help you succeed in this role.
