The Role


As we grow our global presence, our team is looking for an SEO Team Lead to work remotely leading our SEO team. In this role, you will be instrumental in setting and executing our SEO strategy. With your advanced knowledge of SEO, you will help your team develop and create an impact on the organization’s growth plans. You will collaborate closely with the Development and Content team to improve our global SEO execution. This position is crucial to our long-term digital marketing strategy and helps us to continue our growth journey as an organization. 


What You Will Do
  • Lead a team of SEO specialists & leverage advanced strategies to drive organic growth and increase the velocity of project completion 
  • Oversee the evolution of the semantic core and clusterization
  • Streamline SEO processes and tasks (onsite/offsite)
  • Collaborate closely with web-dev & content teams 
  • Report regularly on SEO performance
  • Stay up to date on current industry practices, news, and algorithm updates


What We Look For
  • 5+ years of experience in SEO, including at least 1 year leading an SEO Team 
  • Knowledge of advanced SEO strategies and tools
  • Strong data analysis and SEO reporting experience
  • Extensive experience with semantic core clustering 
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets 
  • Fluency in English (C1 Level preferred)


Nice To Have
  • CMS management experience (i.e. WordPress) 
  • Experience managing 3+ direct reports
  • Previous experience working in a B2B SaaS company 
  • Experience executing SEO strategies in multiple languages


Our Interview Process


We believe in competency-based interviews combined with work samples and we share clear expectations for each element. Our interview assignments simulate what it’s like to work at Ideals and the type of tasks you’ll tackle. Here are the stages of the interview process for this role:


• Screening call with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (45 mins)

• Technical interview with the Hiring Manager - Director, Digital Marketing (60 mins)

• Test task (3-5 hours) + Presentation Interview to the Hiring Manager (60 mins)

• Competency-based interview with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (90 mins)
