We are hiring for a Technical Product Manager for our new API Platform Team

We are looking for a smart, hard-working, highly collaborative technical product manager to join our new API Platform team. This team is focused on API development and enabling other teams to ship products faster.

What you will be doing:

• Create and prioritize the backlog of API work in close collaboration with feature teams, stakeholders and your Engineering Manager partner
• Identify and document requirements for new APIs to support both new use cases and modernization of pre-existing software
• Provide input to Engineering team on API architecture, design, implementation, and deployment decisions
• Collaborate closely with your Engineering Manager partner to align on API strategy and execution
• Collaborate with program management, Engineering, and QA to deliver API enhancements
• Create API solutions that set the new standard against which our competitors will be judged

What you will need to know/have:

• At least 3 years experience in agile software development, with a focus on API development and SaaS integration practices
• Be a self-starter who can create a vision for API platforms and organize a plan to execute it
• Exceptional communication skills to ensure all stakeholders understand and are aligned with the API product vision and plan
• Proven ability to understand technical concepts related to APIs and communicate with an audience of varying technical abilities
• Experience in developing and prioritizing API backlogs
• Strong collaboration skills, especially in working closely with Engineering
• Coding experience is a plus (but not required)
• Experience in the education industry is a plus (but not required)

$125,000 - $155,000 a year
