Apply now and join a community that improves people's lives, the planet and our company's performance by transforming renewable resources into products people depend on every day.Position Title:Global Supply Chain AssociatePay Rate:PL 6Range - $55,500 - $74,000Candidate IdentifiedCategory/Shift:Salaried Full-TimePhysical Location:Corporate HeadquartersMemphis, TNThe Job You Will Perform:Program OverviewInternational Paper's full-time Global Supply Chain professionals can perform one of seven (7) full-time roles:• Transportation Planner• Supply Planner• Process Specialist• Replenishment Planner• Account Executive• Global Sourcing Associate• Fiber Supply AssociateMain Responsibilities• Acquire basic understanding of IP's end to end supply chain processes• Utilize SAP technology and processes in a centralized environment• Assist in root cause analysis and provide resolution for issues that have significant business impact• Communicate with cross functional teams on daily activities, issues, and concerns that affect the supply chain process• Support a culture of continuous improvement by assisting and potentially leading deliberate improvement efforts utilizing Manufacturing Excellence (ME) tools• Analyze market and industry conditions to execute buying strategies• Purchase parts, supplies, equipment or fiber following established purchasing policies and procedures while optimizing price, delivery and terms• Negotiate contracts for implementation and logistics coordination• Oversee relationships with vendorsThe Skills You Will Bring:• Bachelor's degree (Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Forestry, or Engineering related fields)• Cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills; customer focus required• Above average computer skills• Action oriented, can learn quickly and works well in a team environment• Above average analytic skills, with the ability to data mine multiple fields, analyze information, understand trends and make decisions accordingly• Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously• Self-starter as demonstrated by prior summer or intern work experience and/or involvement in campus activities, clubs, student government, etc.• Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (eg.
