Head of Marketing

We are seeking an exceptional marketing leader to drive Italic's continued evolution as a premium lifestyle brand. As we redefine modern luxury through thoughtful design and uncompromising quality, this role will be instrumental in scaling our business while maintaining our brand's elevated positioning and strong unit economics.

NOTE - This is an intensive individual contributor role for someone who thrives on driving measurable results and shaping business success.

Your primary focus and majority of time will be spent on paid media buying.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Brand Growth

  • Develop and execute sophisticated growth strategies that align with our premium positioning while driving profitable customer acquisition

  • Lead data-driven initiatives across paid media, email, and organic channels while maintaining our elevated brand voice

  • Design and implement testing frameworks to optimize conversion while preserving our luxury market positioning

  • Partner with creative teams to ensure all growth initiatives reflect our French-inspired contemporary aesthetic

Performance & Analytics

  • Own key performance metrics including CAC, ROAS, and customer LTV across channels

  • Build and optimize multi-channel campaigns targeting our core demographic of sophisticated professionals (28-45)

  • Develop comprehensive reporting systems to track growth initiatives and inform strategic decisions

  • Scale successful programs while maintaining strict profitability requirements

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with product and merchandising teams to align growth strategies with new collection launches

  • Partner with creative to ensure all acquisition materials reflect our intentionally designed, irreverent brand voice

  • Work closely with finance to optimize spending and maintain profitable unit economics

  • Guide email and CRM strategy to foster long-term relationships with our premium customer base

Requirements

Experience

  • 5+ years of growth marketing experience, preferably in premium/luxury DTC brands

  • Proven track record of scaling profitable customer acquisition programs

  • Deep expertise in performance marketing across paid social, search, and emerging channels

  • Experience marketing to affluent consumers with sophisticated taste

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Looker, etc.)

  • Expert-level knowledge of paid media platforms including Meta, Google, and TikTok

  • Strong understanding of email marketing automation and CRM systems

  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies
