Design Low Voltage Engineer

JASARA PMC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Design Low Voltage Engineer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design assurance of low voltage systems at various stages, ensuring compliance with established standards and enhancing project success. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting design assurance for low voltage systems through all design stages (30%, 60%, 90%) as per approved guidelines.
  • Providing testing assurance for low voltage installations to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
  • Coordinating design activities, including the preparation of drawings and specifications, with other engineering disciplines as part of an integrated design team.
  • Implementing and managing value engineering processes, identifying cost-effective solutions and optimizing project timelines.
  • Overseeing the design activities for outsourced design packages, including conducting reviews and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborating effectively with the integrated project delivery team and reporting to the project manager on project-related activities.
  • Facilitating the sharing of engineering learnings and best practices across projects to boost performance.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the design and management of low voltage systems projects.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge in low voltage system design and specifications.
  • Expertise in testing procedures for low voltage installations.
  • Proficiency in project management and value engineering techniques.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental management practices.
  • Understanding of the Saudi Building Code and relevant regulations.
