About The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will bring technical excellence outcomes to Jasper customers. You will spend time coding, technical design, and problem-solving, and contribute to over-evolving Jasper’s AI platform. You will be part of a close-knit engineering team that ships new code into production multiple times a day.

This role is open to candidates located in France. It will be a hybrid setup, which requires you to come into the office when necessary. The office is based at Station F in Paris, the vibrant hub of the French startup ecosystem.

Our efficient and lean team at Station F thrives on innovation and collaboration. In a dynamic and creative environment, we fully focus on visual applications, integrating AI to maximize its impact. This warm team is also a place where the diversity of personalities and talents is welcomed and valued.

What you will bring to Jasper

• 6+ years of experience in front-end feature development and system design

• Demonstrated understanding of concepts like:

  • Streaming

  • Multiplayer experiences

• Depth of experience with React, Tailwind CSS, GraphQL

• Proven track record of software delivery for customers and their outcomes

• Demonstrated ability to mentor other engineers

What you will do at Jasper

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software

• Write readable, maintainable, self-documenting or well-documented code to solve complex problems with simple, elegant solutions

• Take the initiative to operate autonomously and solve critical problems for Jasper's customers and the overall technical stack

• Own the delivery, execution, and rollout of technical solutions

• Scope and execute complex tasks in a timely and effective manner

• Refactor and enhance existing codebase to improve reusability and foster collaborative idea sharing

• Work effectively with product and design partners to deliver projects
