Reporting to the Senior Project Director, you will create impact within our Project Management Capability. The primary function of Project Management in our business is to meet client requirements by overseeing the project process, managing the schedule, and ensuring that the work of our practitioners is delivered on time, within budget, and following both quality standards and client goals. Having a background in Project Management and can adapt and perform from the start quickly.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Account Support: Assist Senior Account Managers in managing key projects and client relationships across Japan and APAC accounts, including Japan Airlines, Deckers Japan, and Ecommerce workstreams.
Project Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution, tracking timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure projects stay on course.
Salesforce & Admin Tracking: Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce and other tracking tools, logging client interactions, project statuses, and any relevant administrative tasks.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Support cross-functional teams across different regions, ensuring alignment between departments, and providing administrative assistance to streamline processes.
Client Interaction (Gradual): As you develop in the role, you will begin to take on more client-facing tasks, including leading certain client meetings and managing smaller accounts or project components independently.
Accountability & Reporting: Track project progress, maintain reporting, and keep Senior Account Managers and clients updated on key milestones, risks, and next steps.
Assist in Strategy Development: Provide assistance in developing strategies for client projects and identifying areas for growth, while supporting senior colleagues in these processes.
Ecommerce & Regional Projects: Help manage growing Ecommerce workstreams and other regional projects, supporting efforts to expand billable hours and client engagement across Japan and APAC.
Preparation for Leadership: Gain exposure to the strategic side of account management with the goal of developing into a more senior, client-facing role over time.
Requirements
1-2 years of experience in project or client management roles, preferably in Japan or APAC markets.
Proficient in Japanese and English, with strong communication skills to support both internal coordination and eventual client-facing interactions.
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems for tracking client relationships and project progress.
Experience using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira) with a strong commitment to tracking deliverables and supporting senior management.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks while maintaining high attention to detail.
A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with a desire to develop into a more senior client-facing role.
Experience in digital marketing, client support, or Ecommerce roles in Japan or APAC.
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams across regions and manage evolving priorities.
Interest in building a long-term career in project and client management, with an eagerness to take on more responsibility over time.
