For one of our clients, we are looking for a Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer, remotely from Connecticut but will consider candidates in Massachusetts.

As a Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer, you will play a critical role in guiding prospective borrowers through the loan process. You will provide expert advice, explain loan programs, and ensure a seamless experience from application to closing. Working with proprietary software, you will engage clients through phone, text, and email to address inquiries and drive loan completion. This role requires a client-focused, highly motivated professional who excels in building relationships and achieving sales targets.

Accountabilities:

  • Clearly communicate the value proposition, products, and loan process.
  • Drive sales through a consultative approach and meet monthly origination targets.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Manage client communication through phone, email, and SMS.
  • Provide timely responses and flexibility to accommodate client schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth loan processing.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of experience as a loan originator or loan officer in commercial or non-owner occupied residential real estate.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with office tools such as Microsoft Office and G-Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to occasionally visit the office in West Hartford, CT.
