About the position:
Kahnem is partnering with a ecommerce company that is looking to hire an detail-oriented Payroll Accountant to ensure payroll accuracy and timely payment for our teams in Argentina and various US states.
In this role, you will be responsible to process and manage payroll for full-time and part-time employees with ensuring compliance with local tax laws and payroll regulation in both countries.
Other responsibilities of this role include:
Review and verify employee hours, deductions, and compensation.
Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other teams to resolve payroll discrepancies.
Prepare payroll reports for management and ensure proper documentation for audits.
Stay updated on tax and payroll law changes across both regions.
Job requirements:
Proven experience in payroll processing preferably for both Argentina and US employees, and knowledge of US GAAP.
Strong understanding of payroll software and systems.
Learning agility, excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
