The Role

As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll focus on building and expanding a portfolio of large clients in a targeted industry, implementing strategic plans to acquire new business. The Senior Account Executive reports to the Manager, Industry Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a solution and value based sales process from prospecting to closing the deals of enterprise accounts (2000+ employees) of the Kahoot! at Work suite (Kahoot! 360, Actimo and Motimate).
  • Build net new business, and expand existing accounts through up-sell and cross-sell.
  • Build and execute strategic plans for supporting world’s leading companies across a specific industry. 
  • Drive initiatives to build and maintain a strong pipeline that creates revenue quarter over quarter.
  • Effectively manage and communicate with C-level stakeholders to identify & align with client’s business goals and objectives to drive high value solutions and results
  • Be the subject matter expert in presenting the value and drive the sales process across Kahoot! at Work suite.
  • Work closely together with our Customer Success team, Pre sales team, and rest of the commercial teams to ensure high value business outcomes for the customers.
  • Utilise HubSpot (CRM) to manage and record all account activity, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date quotations, account activities, opportunities, and leads.

Who we are looking for

  • 3+ years of experience (5+ years experience for Senior AE level) in solution and value based new sales within the SaaS industry, involving sales to large and enterprise-level clients.
  • Proven track record and motivation for building new business and managing the deal cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to be both strategic and hands-on with your accounts.
  • Excellent negotiation skills - ability to engage the customer in a strategic dialogue, aiming to reach a mutually beneficial agreement.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, fostering trust and maintaining positive, long-term partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • You relate to our Sales Mantras: Professionalism, Pro-Activity, Sense of urgency, Trust, Accountability, Collaboration and Prioritization.
  • Ambitious, self-driven, and adaptable, with a growth mindset—able to evolve, thrive in the face of challenges, and excel in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written), other languages are a plus
  • Having experience in working and selling to any of these industries, is a plus; Tech, Media & Entertainment, Telecommunications (TMT), Retail, Hospitality, and Construction.
