Hospitality Leader - Assistant General Manager - Courtyard, Littleton, MA

We are seeking to add an experienced hospitality leader to our award-winning Courtyard by Marriott team.

We are currently looking to fill the position of Assistant General Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott, Littleton, MA.

As the Assistant General Manager, you will collaborate closely with our General Manager and leadership team to ensure the seamless operation of the property, including both the hotel and the hotel bistro. This role requires a proactive approach to managing all departments within the hotel to deliver outstanding guest service while upholding the highest standards of excellence.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 1- 3 years of directly related experience in hotel with a strong emphasis on guest services.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and engaging work environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A comprehensive understanding of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage services.

Responsibilities:

  • Front Office operations management to include, but not limited to, overall guest service, Brand standards, room availability, cost controls and overall profitability, systems use and management, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation.
  • Lead/ assist in the daily operations of the hotel Bistro
  • Monitor and encourage team members performance and assist in training needs. Actively work on coaching, evaluating, and rewarding team members. Assist in scheduling and employee reviews process.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction reviews and scores with the General Manager and improve accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott and Lafrance standards.
  • Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner and resolves guest concerns.
  • Manage the housekeeping/laundry department as well as some housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Prior brand hotel experience preferred
  • Marriott & Fosse
  • Prior knowledge in food & beverage
  • Minimum 1-3 years hotel Front Desk experience OR prior Property Management experience
  • Detail oriented with emphasis on building guest relationships
