Project Manager (Civil/Transportation )

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, design, scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, control, and safety, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The Project Manager will work on multiple project sites simultaneously and report to the Director.


Requirements:
  • MUST HAVE a P.E. License
  • Excellent attitude and interpersonal skills, serving as a role model for the project team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, Landscape Architecture, or related field, with a professional license.
  • 5–10 years of technical design experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a practical approach.
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule to meet project requirements.
  • Willingness to work as a PE/DE when needed for project submissions.
  • Ability to perform duties that require sitting for prolonged periods and walking on uneven terrain outdoors.
  • Full range of body movements, including the ability to climb ladders and scaffolding safely.
  • Strong sensory skills, including close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus between computer screens and close forms.
  • Physical fitness to carry up to 40 pounds for a distance of 100 feet.
  • Will work in a temperature-controlled office and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license required for driving a company vehicle to job sites.
  • Noise level in the work environment may vary, with louder conditions on job sites.
