About You

Nutrafol is searching for a rock-star Lead Front-End Developer with a keen eye for aesthetics and preferable UX background to join our team. Our ideal candidate will combine creativity, curiosity, and drive to continuously perfect and revolutionize Nutrafol from the inside out. We are a highly motivated, collaborative and fun-loving team with an entrepreneurial spirit and bias for action. Responsibilities: 

  • Constantly iterate on our web experience to improve load times, responsiveness and optimizations
  • Use FE technologies to exceed business and customer requirements 
  • Be the subject matter expert for all front-end applications in the Nutrafol ecosystem 
  • Work closely with BE engineers to design and build new features 
  • Work closely with QA and designers to resolve issues that come up during development 
  • Work closely with designers to create best practices for handoff and implementation 
  • Work cross-functionally to gather requirements and scope new features 
  • Lead and mentor a team of FE developers
  • Review, merge, and deploy all FE code to different environments (staging, production) 
  • Review and delegate all work throughout FE team based on skill set and bandwidth 
  • Lead all integrations with third party solutions (Chatbot, Retention Platforms, AB Testing, Reviews)
  • Create documentation for new features 

 

Requirements:

  • 8+ years experience as a Front End Engineer 
  • 5+ years experience with ReactJS 
  • 3+ years experience as a frontend team lead or engineering manager 
  • Experience in a startup environment or agency equivalent 
  • Highly knowledgeable in JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS
  • Experience with Gatsby or another SSG like Next.js
  • Experience with Redux or similar global state management tool
  • Experience in Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence 
  • Experience designing, communicating, and authenticating with RESTful APIs and GraphQL 
  • Experience working closely with a design team and translating designs from Figma to complex UI components with React
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively solve any obstacles

Preferred:

  • Experience with and of the following: React Native, PHP, SQL, Node
  • Experience with server less technologies (AWS Lambdas, Serverless framework, Azure functions)
  • Experience with an E-commerce platform like Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce
  • Experience working with a headless CMS (Contentful, Contentstack, Prismic)
  • Experience with AB Testing tools (VWO, Optimizely)

Nutrafol takes into consideration a wide range of factors in final compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.

Salary Range:

$120,000—$140,000 USD
