You’ll be connecting with business owners who have expressed interest in selling their businesses. These inbound leads have been generated through strategic outreach, ensuring quality conversations and meaningful engagement.

BDR Mission

Your mission is to connect with business owners, qualify their interest, and schedule appointments for our M&A specialists.

What Makes You a Fit

  • Proven experience in appointment setting or sales (client-facing roles).
  • Resilience to handle objections and maintain a balanced talk-to-listen ratio.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Close.com.
  • A problem-solving mindset to adjust if your conversion rate dips.

Responsibilities

  • Outbound Calls: Make a minimum of 200 calls per shift using an automated power dialer to engage business owners.
  • Lead Qualification: Assess sellers’ goals, business readiness, and suitability for our M&A services.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule at least 8 daily appointments for M&A specialists.
  • CRM Management: Document all interactions accurately to ensure seamless follow-up.

Career Progression

Business Development Representative → Senior BDR → BDR Manager → M&A Advisor or Closer

What You’ll Do Daily

  • Make 200+ outbound calls with an automated power dialer.
  • Qualify leads by assessing their readiness to sell.
  • Schedule at least 8 appointments daily with M&A specialists.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM.


Weekly

  • Review performance metrics and optimize strategies to improve results.
  • Participate in team meetings and role-playing exercises to refine techniques.

  • Month 3: Take full ownership of your lead pipeline and achieve performance targets.
  • Month 6: Exceed goals consistently and provide insights to improve processes.
