LPA is seeking a passionate Architecture Design Coordinator to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members across studios on projects that are both local and across California and Texas. You’ll be primarily working on projects within our commercial team; some examples of recent projects include 200 Spectrum Center Drive, Edwards Lifesciences Campus and Park Place Corporate.

You will be working with directors and principals in the studio and across the firm. We are looking to you to help us continue to develop our talented designers and engineers.

What you will do:
You will be living and breathing the project from inception to completion and be able to turn your hand to all aspects of the project
The Design Coordinator will assist Project Architects, Project Designers and Project Managers in the execution of specific assignments
Prepare documentation and oversee documentation for design development and construction documents
Review and process construction administration documents
Organize research for product and construction methods related to projects
Mentor-ship from project leaders and managing directors, provide mentorship to junior designers

Provide mentorship from Managing Directors and Design Directors as well as other in-house disciplines on all projects

Design Coordinator Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture
5+ years of experience in all phases of architectural projects
Actively pursuing architectural license (or already licensed) and LEED accreditation
Proficiency in Revit. Good knowledge of Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
Knowledge of building codes, related regulations construction materials and specifications preferred
Demonstrate independence, innovation, and vision with program, project design, and implementation
Commitment to pursue high quality construction documents

The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $108,000 and is eligible for an annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
