Entry Level Landscape Architectural Designer

LPA is seeking a passionate Entry Level Landscape Architectural Designer to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. Our San Antonio studio is continuing to grow, and you will be a central part of our development. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members across studios on projects that are both local and across Texas and California. Our clients are both public and private and represent nine different market segments allowing your career to take many different trajectories. What you will do:

  • Participate in the integrated design process with other disciplines at LPA 

  • Assist Design Coordinators and Project Leaders in the execution of specific assignments 

  • Prepare presentations and documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documents 

  • Assist in research for product and construction methods related to projects 

  • Review and process construction administration documents 

  • Attend construction meetings and field visits to further understand detailing and coordination

  • Provide mentorship from Managing Directors and Design Directors as well as other in-house disciplines on all projects

Entry-Level Landscape Architectural Designer Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture 

  • 0-2 years of experience in all phases of Landscape architecture projects

  • Experience with AutoCAD, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred 

  • Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills 

  • Committed to building a long-term professional career

The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $72,000 and is eligible for annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
