We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our inbound and outbound Business Development Representatives (BDRs). The mission of the Business Development Manager will be to grow and develop a team of BDRs to ultimately drive leads, opportunities and pipeline generation for the US and EMEA.

This role will partner closely with Marketing, Inside and Enterprise sales, and Sales Operations to set the strategy and key performance indicators (KPIs) for our Representatives. The position will directly impact the growth and success of LucidLink by contributing to company revenue targets

This is a fully remote role based in the United States, but we are seeking candidates based on the East Coast so they can more effectively manage BDRs based in US and UK time zones. 

Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of business development representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure team members achieve their full potential.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.

  • Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of sales metrics.

  • Optimize the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Utilize CRM tools to track and manage customer interactions and sales activities.

  • Communicate sales performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior management.

  • Expertise in business value selling, developing ROI models that justify the purchase

  • Lead from the front - no armchair quarterbacks here. Experience in leading the sale, from start to finish, to show the sales team what the perfect sales call looks like.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in MEDDPICC and Question Based selling methodologies.

  • 5+ years of strong leadership and proven team management experience, preferably in Saas or Technology sales. 

  • Experience in team development and training.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in using CRM software and sales engagement platforms.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets in a team environment.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Channels, Customer Success, Solution Engineering, Marketing, and Support.

The salary range provided for this position is an estimated guideline from a salary database. Total compensation for this position may also include equity, variable pay, and employee benefits. We consider a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, training, and skill sets; market conditions; and internal equity. Compensation ranges may also vary based on location.
