The Product team oversees all digital properties at Fortune: our content and conference websites, to the new Fortune Connect membership platform. Our goal is to launch new products to build on our core competencies of content, events and e-commerce, in order to diversify our revenue streams; and to improve the user experience and monetization of existing properties. 

We are seeking an SEO Content Manager to join the Product team. You will work with other members of the Product team as well as stakeholders throughout the company. You will be hands-on, collaborative, and pivotal in facilitating the next step in Fortune’s evolution by focusing on driving site performance and organic search traffic for our products. This role will operationalize the tactics associated with the strategic direction for all search optimization and syndication efforts as well as perform content audits and optimizations to improve search traffic as well as support the maintenance of the roadmap. You will support technical SEO reviews to improve site indexing, organic search traffic and visibility of Fortune content. You will also maintain and manage the optimization of our syndication feeds. Additionally, you will collaborate with Product, Engineering and Editorial to support the definition of the SEO roadmap and best practices and build reports to measure KPIs on SEO health and performance and turn observations into action and results. You will execute and manage various link acquisition campaigns to increase brand footprint and traffic and effectively communicate progress and updates to key stakeholders of varying SEO knowledge. 

This role will report to the Director of Search Strategy. 

Requirements: 

• 3-5 years direct working experience as a Search Engine Optimization professional with a focus on holistic SEO content 
• Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Search Console as well as Core Web Vital tools, such as Lighthouse 
• Proficiency in Ahrefs, Conductor, Screaming Frog and other SEO tools 
• Experience with E-commerce, a plus
• Understanding of HTML, CSS and how SPA sites affect SEO
• Solid understanding of SEO core concepts and techniques
• Solid understanding of syndication and feeds management and optimization
• Strong team player with a proven ability to work cross-functionally, especially with technical and editorial teams
• Relentless prioritization and organizational ability
• Ability to develop tactics that are actionable and measurable as well as communicate strategic importance to all stakeholders
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent written skills, editorial experience a plus
• Diligence and attention to detail
• Collaborative, diplomatic and excellent communicator
• Preferred but not required, Bachelor’s Degree in areas of study such as Engineering, Marketing or Product Management

Location:  NYC - Hybrid. Successful candidates must live a commutable distance from our Lower Manhattan headquarters.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000
