We now have a vacancy for a Business Process Developer to join the Marshalls team on a fixed term contract or to existing employees as a secondment. This is a vital role in delivering effective IT solutions that support and enhance business operations across our organisation.  


So, What’s the mission? 

You will act as a crucial link between business teams and IT specialists, ensuring that process improvements and system developments are aligned with strategic objectives. From design to delivery, your expertise will drive efficiency, integration, and long-term success. 

  • The role is made up of 1st line support and where required project work 
  • Working across the business to provide timely and effective resolution for AX related queries and processes across all internal stakeholders across all business areas 
  • Where appropriate, be part of the initiation of disaster recovery activities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and IT teams, translating business requirements into actionable IT solutions 
  • Ensuring processes remain operational and efficient, identifying process failures and permission conflicts for example  
  • Business integration projects 
  • Review and promote best practice 
  • IT Business continuity planning and testing 
  • IT Projects 
  • Involvement from design to delivery 
  • Provide the business viewpoint 
  • Acceptance testing on behalf of the business 
  • Provide end user training where appropriate 

 
Other tasks include: 

Completion of audit processes, segregation of duties, creating users, employee starter and leaver processes & seeking required authority 

The team are based at our Elland office and enjoy the benefit of flexible working so your time will be split between working from home and the office (currently 2 days but candidates are required to be flexible) 

What are the mission-critical skills? 

  • A proven & effective track record in a comparable role with relevant experience 
  • Proficiency in AX is highly desirable, other ERP systems will be considered  
  • Advanced skills in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite. 
  • Exceptional communication abilities,  
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and external 3rd parties such as KPMG and Deloitte for audit purposes
