Job Title:Director Of Search - RemoteRole Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Director of Search to lead the global strategic planning, execution, and performance of all Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Paid Search (PPC), and Shopping campaigns across Google and Bing platforms. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Direct To Consumer (DTC) Marketing, this role requires a strong analytical mindset, experience with campaign optimization, and a deep understanding of how to drive traffic and conversions through search engines. The Director will lead a team of search specialists, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and manage key external vendor relationships.This is a remote role based in the United States. We are only considering candidates currently located in the United States and are not offer relocation at this time.About the role:Paid Search Campaign Management• Oversee the creation, management, and optimization of Google Ads and Bing Ads search campaigns tied to key lines of business.• Lead keyword research, bidding strategies, competitive audits and ad copy optimization for both platforms.• Ensure campaigns meet business revenue objectives, ROAS targets, and budget parameters-while also calling out opportunities for increased investment.• Regularly analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights to enhance campaign efficiency.• Develop and execute testing plans and learning agendas to apply new technologies (example: AI) to accelerate campaign performance and overall team efficiency• Identify optimization opportunities through data-driven analysis and experimentation (A/B testing, multivariate testing, etc.).• Regularly test ad creatives, landing pages, and bidding strategies and incrementality tests to improve overall efficiency, conversion rates and quality scores.Shopping Campaigns Optimization• Manage and optimize Google Shopping and Bing Shopping campaigns to maximize product visibility and sales through the evolving Performance Max (PMAX) platforms.• Oversee product data feed management accuracy and relevance & experiment with promotional imagery to optimize campaign performance.• Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to enhance Shopping campaign effectiveness.SEO Strategy & Execution• Develop and implement an advanced SEO strategy aimed at improving organic visibility, ranking, and traffic across key product and feature portions of McAfee.com.• Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities; as well as experimentation & utilization of AI tools to increase discovery and speed to market.• Monitor and optimize website architecture, content, and metadata to improve search rankings and site performance.• Stay updated on SEO trends and algorithm changes, ensuring the company remains competitive.Team Leadership & Development• Lead and mentor a team of SEO and Paid Search specialists, ensuring professional growth and skill development.• Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging experimentation and innovation within the team to accelerate performance and efficiency.Collaboration & Stakeholder Management• Collaborate with internal teams (content, analytics, development) to ensure search campaigns align with broader marketing and business goals.• Work closely with external vendors, agencies, and platform partners (Google & Bing) to enhance search strategy and performance.About you:• 10+ years of experience in search engine marketing, with a strong background in both SEO and paid search (Google and Bing).• Proven track record in leading and optimizing search campaigns for large-scale websites and e-commerce platforms.• Expertise in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and industry-standard SEO tools.• Experience in international/multilingual search campaigns.• Familiarity with machine learning and AI-driven optimization for search campaigns.• Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making and A/B testing.• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.• Ability to manage budgets and optimize ROI effectively.#LI-RemoteCompany OverviewMcAfee is a leader in personal security for consumers.
