MeridianLink is looking for a seasoned Analyst with exceptional communication skills for the position of Sr. Data Products Business Analyst to join our Data Insights team. This team is responsible for developing industry-leading data products that drive tangible business value to our MeridianLink stake holders. Your efforts will focus on applying your advanced analytics skill set and strong sense of ownership to accelerate our data product strategy and enable internal/external customers to recognize tangible ROI. You will partner with, prioritize, and set direction, for a cross functional Data Engineering team to better execute functional requirements. You will contribute to the MeridianLink data and information strategy by developing and documenting requirements and testing across the data product life cycle ensuring conformity to industry best practice and the Agile process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Refine ambiguous questions/asks and generate requirements that support internal data products through a deep understanding of the data, our customers, and our business.
• Operating within the scrum framework; create and communicate clear business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that translate business needs into clear work items submitted into sprints.
• Build complex BI reporting and analysis in Sisense and SQL that provide stakeholders with insight to better operate and achieve cooperate strategies.
• Maintain reporting and analytics documentation through confluence for business stake holders.
• Partner with Data Engineering teams to solve for Data Model challenges and promote the highest standards of data accuracy and reliability.
• Demonstrate ownership and execution of solutions to complex problems.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree/equivalent in computer science, finance, mathematics, or related field and 4-6 years of experience
• SQL or similar query language expertise required. • Financial industry experience highly preferred.
• Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Sisense) required.
• Experience working within an agile scrum environment.
• Experience in applied analytics field (Marketing, Finance, Product, Econ, etc.) with operating knowledge of Analytics/Data Science industry best practice • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate methods and results to a non-technical/technical audience.
• Must be intellectually curious, self-motivated, collaborative, and a team player with an infectious excitement about data.
• Statistical analysis using Python/ R or other scripting language a plus.

Salary range of $94,500 - $133,400. [It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.] The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law including geographical location.
