This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your love for people and strong work ethic while advancing your career in the medical billing field. As a Payment Processor, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely posting of payments, ensuring that all financial transactions are smooth and efficient. You'll be responsible for entering checks and ERAs into our medical billing software, applying payments to patient accounts, and collaborating with our dedicated Billing Coordinators and Collection Specialists. You'll also download payments, ERAs, and EOBs from the Clearinghouse, and ensure our daily and monthly deposit reports balance perfectly. We value accuracy, so your ability to enter adjustments like contractuals and bad debts into our Accounts Receivable system will be key. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to update our billing software to reflect contracted rates accurately. If you're a high school graduate with a passion for numbers and a background in medical billing, along with strong typing skills and proficiency in spreadsheet software, we want to hear from you! With a starting hourly rate of $22-$26, depending on your experience, this role is perfect for someone looking to grow in a supportive and engaging environment.
