Marketplace Manager

As Marketplace Manager you will take ownership of Mous’ fastest growing sales channel. We have an exciting vision for our Marketplace channels and we are looking for someone to make that a reality. In this role you will support on the strategy and be accountable for the success of the channel.

👋 About You 

 

We are looking for an analytical and proactive Marketplace Manager who is looking to accelerate an already growing area. We’ll be asking you to hit the ground running, getting hand-on in the platform, understanding our current opportunities and quickly shaping the direction of the area.  

 

As Marketplace Manager you will report into Emma Holmes, our E-commerce Lead. Excitingly, you will be responsible for the success of our Marketplace channel (predominantly Amazon). We have had huge successes in this area recently and we are looking for someone to understand the drivers of this success and apply these to our full product offering as well as scoping and prioritising new opportunities. 

 

We boast in-house video and design teams capable of producing beautiful and commercially successful assets. You will interface with these teams regularly to ensure we are consistently optimising. We also have an in-house data team who provide custom dashboards and analysis to support in decision making. With this, we will look to you to build out and implement a winning go-to-market strategy for new products as well as applying optimisations to existing products. Following this, we will look to you to inform broader business strategy based on concrete learnings.


It's always been an exciting time to join Mous, but now so more than ever. Here's what we have in mind:
  • Around 2–4 years experience with a DTC brand, e-commerce aggregator, consultancy, or start-up 
  • A 2:1 degree or higher under your belt (although this isn't a prerequisite) 
  • Strong problem solver – never afraid to get stuck into the detail to uncover insights 
  • Exposure to marketplace management, with an interest or focus on Amazon 
  • A demonstrable commercial understanding with the ability to value and prioritise work ruthlessly 
  • Proven analytical and Excel skills to build and evaluate hypotheses using data, with exposure to AB testing 
  • Experience managing and developing a team, with a willingness to learn along the way 
  • Agile and scrappy –you are action biased, embraceuncertainty with the tenacity to see things through to the end 
  • An adept leader, you have the confidence to drive change with an entrepreneurial mindset

We have a hybrid approach to working at Mous so our team can have flexibility during the week, and we can retain the collaborative and vibrant Mous culture that people love. We expect people to come into the office at least two days a week but some teams opt for more as it’s beneficial for their workflow.
