Your Role

As a Production Program Manager – Series, you will be at the heart of managing series production operations, ensuring seamless communication and execution between Munich Electrification, our customers, and production partners. You will collaborate closely with internal teams at ME to synchronize forecasts and align deliverables.

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers (including some of the world’s leading OEMs) and our Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) partners, addressing all topics related to production planning, forecasting, change management, and supply chain coordination. Your responsibilities will span the entire series production phase, including managing customer escalations and planning spare parts for end-of-life support.

Your future tasks at a glance
  • Act as the key interface between Munich Electrification and customers during series production.
  • Manage and implement change requests, ensuring alignment with customers and seamless integration into production.
  • Synchronize customer forecasts with production planning to meet demand efficiently.
  • Lead customer escalations, resolving challenges with urgency and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with EMS partners to optimize production planning and capacity management.
  • Review and validate the Bill of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing accuracy.
  • Monitor and evaluate EMS performance to drive improvements.
  • Plan and coordinate the production and delivery of spare parts for end-of-life products.


What you bring with you
  • Successfully completed a university degree in engineering, business management, or a related field (experience in supply chain or production management is a plus).
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in production program management or a related role, preferably within the automotive or electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, take ownership, and drive them to successful completion.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English is required, and proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimization.
