Mission

Integrations are often overlooked but absolutely critical. Companies today rely on an ever-growing number of software tools, and without seamless connectivity between them, data remains siloed, workflows break, and efficiency suffers. The need for integrations has never been greater, and as businesses continue to digitize, the demand will only accelerate.  In particular, the recent advancements in AI have dramatically increased the need for robust product integrations. In many cases, AI is gated on data integration.

Location

Anywhere in the Americas or Europe, as long as you can be available to work each weekday during our core hours: 8 AM to 12 PM EST (1 PM to 5 PM GMT).

What You’ll Do

  • Develop our open-source platform to accelerate product integrations by 10x.

  • Design and build scalable backend systems, APIs, and services that power our platform.

  • Collaborate with customers (B2B SaaS engineering teams) to build tooling and integrations that make their lives easier.

  • Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of our backend services.

  • Shape the product and company strategy, actively participating in key decisions.

  • Own and maintain our open-source repository, engaging with the developer community.

  • Drive engineering best practices and make key technology decisions.

  • Develop startup acumen and gain hands-on experience in building a dev-tool startup from the ground up.

Who you are

  • You thrive in fast-moving environments—you can navigate uncertainty, unblock difficult situations, and solve squishy problems.

  • You’re a backend expert, comfortable working across databases, APIs, performance tuning, and scalability challenges.

  • You care deeply about customer impact—you’re comfortable hopping on a Slack conversation or call to unblock a developer in real-time.

  • You move fast and unblock yourself—you don’t wait for permission and can solve problems with minimal supervision.

  • You propose and drive change—you don’t just execute; you shape the roadmap, create momentum, and get buy-in.

  • You take ownership—you push the bar higher on every codebase you touch.

  • You don’t shy away from unglamorous work—you’ll automate a marketing task, fix a CI issue, or unblock a teammate if it helps the company move forward.

  • You’re reliable and proactive—whether it’s an incident, an on-call rotation, or an urgent customer request, you step up and communicate effectively.

  • You have a low ego—you can receive and give tough feedback while staying friendly and focused on the mission.

  • You solve hard problems—whether it’s optimizing performance, designing scalable systems, or improving developer experience, you thrive in technical challenges.

What you bring

  • 10+ years of backend engineering experience

  • Experience with Node.js

  • Strong work ethic & sense of ownership

  • Great organizational skills to track and fulfill customer requests

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members in a remote setting

  • Product mindset & developer empathy—you instinctively optimize for Developer Experience (DX)

  • Ability to write high-quality code—readable, structured, documented, reliable, performant

  • Fluency in English (written & spoken)

  • Experience in a startup, dev tool, US and/or remote companies
