CNA to Medication Aide (Full-Time)(PAID TRAINING) - Carolina Reserve of LP

Carolina Reserve of Laurel Park is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to join our CNA to Medication Aide Program. Qualified CNAs will be provided with free training along with the necessary tools to become a Certified Medication Aide. At Navion our Certified Nursing Assistants are responsible for delivering high-quality resident care and support in a cutting-edge senior living community. This is a CNA to Medication Aide Certified track position, meaning the applicant is expected to be able to pass the class and function as a medication aide.

  • Active CNA license in good standing
  • 1-year minimum experience as a CNA, employed for a continuous 365 days in a SNF, ALF, or PACE
  • No more than two jobs as a CNA over the last 365 days

Addition requirements

  • Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service skills
  • Positive attitude, the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents and the ability to work in a team environment are keys to success
  • High School diploma/GED accepted and may be required per state regulations
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred
  • Ability to make choices, decisions and act in the resident’s best interest
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
