OverviewTo lead and manage Navy Federal’s portfolio of corporate social responsibility and diversity, inclusion & belonging programs, and partnerships to include signature volunteer programs, employee resource groups, environmental sustainability programs, and philanthropic partnerships/external relationships. Ensure portfolio design and delivery drives enterprise and HR outcomes. To lead, develop and collaborate on enterprise-wide strategies with executive leadership to determine the most impactful opportunities for engagement, development, and ensure alignment with the organization’s objectives and goals.Responsibilities• Oversee the program and platform delivery of CSR and DI&B employee programs and nonprofit/external relationships• Manage, lead and evolve the program portfolio and local, community & employee activated philanthropic strategy in alignment with Navy Federal’s strategy and employee-powered outcomes• Drive the strategy for delivering effective corporate social responsibility and diversity, inclusion & belonging programs to drive employee development, engagement, inclusion, and brand enhancement• Drive and participate in center-led collaboration across the enterprise• Manage and facilitate executive relationships with program sponsors, senior-most volunteer leaders, campus executive leaders, and cross-functional partners; strategically influencing and leveraging insights to inform strategy• Partner and collaborate with external community stakeholders to develop, manage, and execute strategic partnerships• Leverage and incorporate industry best practices while maintaining alignment with NFCU goals and capabilities• Drive prioritization, efficiency of operations and strategic alignment of all corporate social responsibility and diversity, inclusion & belonging programs• Monitor and analyze quality/performance, methodologies, procedures, and processes to ensure business goals are met and ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget• Ensure compliance with proper approval process, regulations, laws, and adherence to the corporate image• Represent Navy Federal at external meetings and events, and serve as a thought leader internally and externally on corporate social responsibility and diversity, inclusion & belonging• Perform managerial responsibilities for team members:• Ensure adequate /skilled staffing; selection of employees• Establish performance goals and priorities• Prepare, conduct and review performance appraisals• Develop, mentor and counsel staff• Provide input and/or prepare budget requirements for Annual Financial Plan (AFP)• Ensure section/branch goals and objectives align with division/departmental strategy• Ensure efficiency of operations• Performs other duties as assignedQualifications• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication, Behavioral Sciences, Education, or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience• 10+ years of experience in corporate citizenship, CSR, and/or DI&B• Significant experience in supervising and leading a team with ability to lead with influence• The ability to think strategically and operationalize ideas into plans and actions• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse projects and handle multiple priorities simultaneously• Extensive experience in presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely• Ability to demonstrate sound judgement in ambiguous situations• Ability to deal tactfully and persuasively with all levels of management; effective skills in communicating with all levels within the organization and with external contacts• Advanced verbal and written skills• Experience in developing and overseeing annual budgets• Proficiency with word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and presentation software• A demonstrated ability to build relationships and work in a collaborative, inclusive, integrated team environment• Demonstrated political acumen and the capability to handle items of a confidential/sensitive nature• Demonstrated resilience with the ability to handle a high workload and complex issues while meeting deadlinesDesired Qualifications• Master’s Degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Communication, Behavior Sciences, Education, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience• Working knowledge of Navy Federal’s functions, philosophy, operations, and organizational objectivesHours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PMLocation: 820 Follin Lane, Vienna, VA 22180 | 5550 Heritage Oaks Drive Pensacola, FL 32526 | 141 Security Drive Winchester, VA 22602About UsYou have goals, dreams, hobbies, and things you're passionate about—what's important to you is important to us.
