Description

Westward360 is looking to add an HR Manager to our growing Chicago team. If you are an experienced Human Resources professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture, we encourage you to apply!


Westward360 is a leader in the Property Management and Community Association Management  industry, with locations nationwide. We service condo, townhome, and homeowner associations and provide rental management services to multi-family and single-unit properties.


What We Offer:

  • Base salary range of $80,000 - $90,000

What You’ll Do:

  • HR Team & Office Oversight
    • Directly manage the HR team, including the Sr. HR Generalist, Payroll & Benefits Specialist, and HR Administrator.
    • Indirectly oversee the Office Coordinator, managed by the Sr. HR Generalist.
    • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance feedback to HR team members.
    • Ensure HR policies and practices align with company goals and compliance standards.
  • Employee Relations & Performance Management
    • Conduct exit interviews for Directors and above, offering insights for leadership.
    • Drive performance management strategies, ensuring fair and structured evaluations.
    • Act as a trusted resource for employee relations issues, handling conflict resolution and workplace investigations.
    • Oversee leave management, ensuring proper tracking and compliance with labor laws.
  • Benefits, Compliance & Vendor Management
    • Lead benefits administration, including open enrollment and ongoing plan management.
    • Administer workers’ compensation programs and ensure compliance with employment laws.
    • Foster strong partnerships with HR vendors, optimizing service delivery and cost efficiency.


What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years managing direct reports.
  • Deep knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration, and compliance regulations.
  • Experience leading HR teams and supporting office administration functions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong proficiency in HRIS systems (Paylocity or similar preferred) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.).
