Job Description

Senior Director, Compensation Programs

As the Senior Director of Compensations Programs, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful development and delivery of all compensation programs at ServiceNow, including the annual compensation review. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring ServiceNow continues to attract and retain the best talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration of all compensation programs, including the annual compensation review, bonus programs, long-term incentives, one-time payment awards, and pay equity initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to ensure competitive compensation practices, and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Manage ServiceNow’s salary structures, annual merit, bonus, and equity budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations related to compensation, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and align compensation programs with business strategy and financial plans.
  • Support the development of effective communication and change management plans to inform employees about our compensation programs and any changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compensations tools on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Manage the Compensation Programs team.

Qualifications

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.  
  • Proven experience in managing the successful delivery of compensation programs.
  • 15+ years of experience in senior compensation roles, including extensive experience in team management.
  • Excellent knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow platform experience preferred.
  • Preferred candidates will have experience in the technology industry.
  • Effective at building relationships, collaborating, and influencing others, with experience working with senior executives across various geographies and functions.
  • Independent thinker and strong team player who enjoys working in a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
