Test Specialist III

Responsibilites:• Install instrumentation on gas turbine hardware.• Work with manufacturing/vendors to ensure instrumentation is not damaged during assembly operations.• Work with engineering component owners to design/apply instrumentation methods for gas turbine hardware.• Review and approve program level documentation including budgets, schedules, and drawings.• Design data acquisition systems to meet validation requirements.• Perform operational checks on test equipment and sensors.• Packing, shipping and setting up test equipment.• Applying and troubleshooting instrumentation on gas turbines and accessory equipment.• Operation of various data acquisition systems per company ISO procedures and best practices.• Pulling cables and installing in cable tray.Education/Experience:• Associates Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering Technology.• Bachelors degree a plus. Military background a plus.• Experience in execution of industrial equipment tests, involving setup and operation of data acquisition systems.Skills:• Working knowledge of engineering software.• Proficient in the use of PC-based computer testing software such as LabVIEW and MS Excel.• Must have excellent computer and technical skills.
