Escrow Officer

As an Escrow Officer, You Will:
  • Receipt and review purchase agreements, contracts, assignments.
  • Provide updates to Realtors, lenders and purchasers on the status of receiving title commitments/preliminary reports and loan approval/instructions form the lender.
  • Review title commitments/preliminary reports, relays curative requirements to parties involved and assists as necessary.
  • Coordinate closing dates with clients, their customers, and lenders.
  • Review closing instructions and documents from lender and prepares HUD settlement statements accordingly.
  • Advise clients and customers on title policy options.
  • Review escrow accounting reports to resolve any outstanding checks and open file balances.
  • Where deficiencies are identified, notifies the branch manager of need for coaching and or performance counseling.
  • Assist in marketing new business and promoting better service to clients and their customers.
  • Act an effective team member by helping develop other staff members, providing assistance to other staff members as needed and encouraging others to perform at peak levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


We are Looking for a Teammate that has:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • College degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years experience in the title & escrow insurance industry with at least 2 years experience as an escrow assistant/processor.  
  • Must be proficient with Qualia or similar systems software and MS Office.  
  • Effective communication, presentation and organization skills.   
  • Knowledge of abstracting and minor examination.
  • Resident License may be required for regulatory compliance with transaction functions.
  •  Notary Public is required.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting; flexible, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
  • Skills in being a self-motivating, analytical, and proactive team player
