As an iOS Platform Software Engineer at Nextdoor, you’ll join a small team of engineers dedicated to improving the iOS app infrastructure, streamlining developer processes, and maintaining stable and smooth app releases. As part of the Core Platform team, our mission is to create a delightful developer experience that empowers teams to build their features quickly and safely. We build paved roads so that product engineers can focus their efforts on building features that serve our neighbors and drive our business. We create infrastructure that makes the easy things work out of the box and the hard things possible. We build performance and scalability into the platform itself so that Nextdoor is safe and fast by default.

Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create our total rewards package. Compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications. Compensation may also vary by geography.
The starting salary based in San Francisco and/or New York City for this role is expected to range from $185,000 to $230,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role.
We expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With quarterly vesting, your first vest date will take place within 3 months of your start date.
