Job Description
Account Development at NielsenIQ plays a significant role in connecting with our FMCG clients, driving continuous sales and new business development.
The work is varied and exciting as you would be contributing to both clients’ and NielsenIQ’s growth. You would be working in collaboration with all Commercial and Customer success associates in Romania and potentially wider region to achieve set revenue, profitability and client satisfaction targets within the Romanian Market. You would learn about our regular and value-adding analytical services and be in a position to promote NIQ services to existing and new client bases.
You would gain a strong understanding of our business and a large internal and client network.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Build client relationships through engagement, identifies business opportunities
· Negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of NielsenIQ solutions as well as current market conditions
· Maintain relationships with current clients, supporting and directly servicing part of the coming client requests
· Day-to-day execution of set team sales targets following company strategy
· Approach potential new customers, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients and grow business with them
· Prepare Client proposals, contracts, orders to invoice
· Supports maintenance of the revenue related documents, materials, tracking files
· Drive and execute sales campaigns in close collaboration with Delivery teams
Qualifications
· Higher education with a degree preferable in Economics, Marketing, Business or similar
· At least 3 years of experience ideally from FMCG, distributor, retailer or marketing and/or research agency
· Previous experience with NielsenIQ data and reports is a plus
· Easily adaptable to new business intelligence tools, such as SalesForce, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesloft and other online tools and platforms
· Good track record in previous analytical and/or sales roles
· Recommendation from the previous employer is a plus
· Fluent in Romanian and very good knowledge of business English, both in writing and orally

In this dynamic role, you'll play a crucial part in connecting with our FMCG clients and helping drive essential sales and new business development initiatives. Each day is varied and exciting as you contribute to the growth of both our clients and NielsenIQ. You'll collaborate closely with our Commercial and Customer Success teams, striving to exceed revenue and client satisfaction targets in the Romanian market. Your expertise will shine as you promote our regular and value-adding analytical services, and expand your understanding of? our business while networking internally and externally. As a Senior Sales Executive, you’ll build and nurture client relationships, identifying valuable business opportunities along the way. You’ll negotiate deals, maintain extensive knowledge of the latest NielsenIQ solutions, and support our current clients by addressing their needs promptly. The role involves day-to-day execution of set sales targets while driving ambitious campaigns alongside our delivery teams. To thrive in this position, you'll need a higher education degree, ideally in Economics, Marketing, or Business, along with at least three years of experience, preferably within FMCG, retail, or research environments. If you're fluent in Romanian and have strong English communication skills, along with a solid track record in analytical or sales roles, we want to hear from you!
